Urinary tract infections
A urinary tract infection (UTI) is an inflammation caused by the growth of bacteria in the urinary tract. It can affect the bladder (cystitis), the urethra, or the kidneys (pyelonephritis). UTIs are more common in women but can also affect men.
Prostate problems
The prostate is a male gland located below the bladder. As men age, it can enlarge and cause urinary issues, known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It can also be affected by inflammation (prostatitis) or cancer.
Testicular pain
It is pain felt in one or both testicles. It can come on suddenly or gradually, and range from mild to severe. The pain may have various causes: trauma, infection, inflammation, or a surgical emergency.
Incontinence
Urinary incontinence is the involuntary loss of urine. This means the person cannot control their bladder, which can lead to sudden or gradual leaks, sometimes even without the sensation of needing to urinate.
Erectile dysfunction
Erectile dysfunction (or impotence) is the persistent inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual intercourse. It is a common issue that can affect self-confidence and quality of life.
Chronic infections
A chronic urinary tract infection is a persistent or recurrent infection of the bladder, kidneys, or urinary tract. It occurs when bacteria are not fully eliminated or keep coming back despite treatment.
Male intimate hygiene
Male intimate hygiene includes daily practices that keep the genital organs clean and help prevent infections, bad odors, and irritations. It is an essential habit for urinary, sexual, and overall health.
